Peterhof Fountains

Peterhof is mainly known for its fountains; these are just a few of the more minor ones! The first is the Chess Hill Fountain, a spring-fed, Alice in Wonderland checkerboard with water flowing over bronze dragons.

    Gorgeous! Of course, WE would have fountains -- were our prospects not so nearly perpendicular!
