Around the corner from the Library on an intersecting street is the State Agora, or Marketplace. You can see that it was just a jumble of stone in 1990:

Just past the Agora, with a capacity of about 24,000, the Theater is thought to be the largest theater in the ancient world. It's had some restoration and is now used for outdoor concerts.
