The Burgundy Canals

And now it's time to set off on the Burgundy Canal for a few days' journey on the Abercrombie Barge. Our route starts, of course, in Dijon, which is where all the pink lines come together in the purple portion of the map below (Cote d'Or), going down to the right along the Burgundy Canal until it intersects the dark blue line in the pink area (Saone et Loire), which is the Saône River. It travels northwest for a bit, then turns southwest. We followed it until the Canal du Centre, which is pale blue and travels northwest from the turnoff from the Saône. All set?
