The Road to Olduvai Gorge

Young Maasai are sent out to forage for themselves after their adult initiation ceremonies; these probably get most of their money by flagging down tourists along the road and charging for photos of their beautifully decorated faces, a practice our driver strongly disapproved of. He couldn't have been very surprised, though, since about all Maasai men do otherwise is sit around the camps while the women do all the work.

Well, it's now spelled "Oldupai," but still has the same magic:
