Budvar and Trebon

On our departure from Český Krumlov, we stopped in the nearby town of České Budějovice, the real home of Budweiser.







Notice that on the assembly line below, something has leaked and the floor is awash in suds...

Our next stop was Třeboň, a 12th-century spa town founded by the Rožmberk family (who clearly got around). They funded the development of a fish-farming system of 6,000 ponds that remain productive today. It's a museum of Renaissance and Baroque architecture.
