Our next stop was Jindřichův Hradec, another 13th-century town which has a lovely castle (although we did not visit it), and a Gobelin weaving museum where they also do tapestry repairs.
There's also a converted Jesuit museum here of eccentric exhibits, like a 60-meter long creche with attendant Biblical scenes and many moveable bits, including soldiers on horseback, a drawbridge, a sawmill, blacksmith, geeseherds, etc. Lots of furniture, painting, old advertising signage, etc.
