Hard to know where to even start with Prague because it's such a gorgeous city and so full of amazing architecture, which is always my weakness. So maybe we'll just start where it did in the 9th century, with Prague Castle perched above the Vltava River.
Sgraffito work on the buildings, done by applying layers of very thin plaster of different colors over the surface, then scratching through to reveal the layer(s) below, forming the pattern:
It has a pretty commanding view itself:
