Olives, anyone?

On our way from our lovely casbah hotel in Kairouan to Sbeitla, we stopped at an olive processing plant. Growers from a region all bring their olives to one plant for processing, where they are stored in these bins until the press is able to get around to them.

Sbeitla is a Roman and Byzantine city in north-central Tunisia, founded on the site of Punic ruins. It's flatter than the site of El Djem, so its streets are wider.
