Our barge cruise through Burgundy begins in Dijon, the historic capital of Burgundy. It's famous for its mustard, although nowadays most of the mustard seed is imported from Canada, as the land is too valuable for mere mustard when there are wine grapes to be grown!

My passion for doors is simply amplified in France, where porticoes are often surmounted by charming metal and glass awnings:
