In 1942, the Vichy French governor stripped the colonial charm from the Hotel and stuck on a dreadful Art Deco facade, which mercifully has been removed recently.
The Hotel's old Citroen, which, we discovered too late for it to do us any good, can be rented with driver for sightseeing tours of Dalat
Or there's their old horse-drawn carriage, which can also be rented for sightseeing!
