Hoan Kiem Lake

This is the lake out of which John McCain was fished after his plane was shot down over Ha Noi during a bombing run.

The Chinese occupied Vietnam for a long time, so their influence is still everywhere, as in this beautiful red bridge connecting the lakeside to one of the lake's islands.
