Ta Prohm has that ineffable air of Indiana Jones & Laura Croft, as the fig, banyan and kapok trees which are tearing the temples apart hold them together at the same time. Built between the mid-12th century to the early 13th century under the reign of Jayavarman VII, it is a Buddhist complex, dedicated to the mother of the king.
Even when they cut away the trees growing on top of the ruins, they still
cannot remove the roots.
