Parthenon: Propylaea and Nike Temple

You enter the site of the Parthenon through the massive gateway of the Propylaea, built under the general direction of Pericles:


I don't usually resort to posting things like the signboard below, but the Temple of Nike Athena seems perennially under reconstruction, hidden behind scaffolding, so at least this way you can see what it's supposed to look like should the government ever finish restoring it.
