A great walker’s city, you can’t help but get lost and it’s all part of the adventure to just wander. Everyone who visits sees something different, but I focused on the buildings and their details, and, of course, the canals. The bigger canals, like the Grand Canal, are great for taking in the grand facades.
But the smaller pedestrian streets give up a lot of intimate detail.
And, oh, those canals! The Bridge of Sighs is charming:
