One of my favorite buildings in Venice is the 15th century Palazzo Contarini Del Bovolo with its circular external staircase, not so easy to find, but well worth it.
It’s of a piece with a lot of small exquisite details Venice has for those paying attention, like its lovely pink-glass lanterns and scrolled lamp-holders.
