Villa Rufolo

Villa Rufolo is essentially a 13th century structure. It was bought and restored by a Scotsman in the mid-19th century, which doubtless accounts for the excess of Victorian flower beds. Parts of it are still in ruins.

But Villa Rufolo’s gardens in spring are spectacular and the view they provide of the sea is delicious.
