La Giralda and around town

The minaret of a 12th century mosque, La Giralda is now the bell tower of Seville's Cathedral, although the upper part of the bell tower and weathervane were added in the 18th century. There's an almost identical tower in Morocco, and a number of other replicas built around the world, including the second Madison Square Garden, Florida, Chicago, Kansas City and even Cleveland!

The Alcazar, built by the Moorish kings and continued use as a palace into the 19th century
